Connecticut native Marty Hunt is a life
long horse lover and rider and a mother of three grown children and
has three grandchildren. She retired from a 35 year career in economic
development in Connecticut and has set up this horse and rider
vacation business for others to enjoy.
Having vacationed with her horse and best
friends for ten years in northern Vermont, she fell in love with the
people and the incredible horse focused community which surrounds the
Green Mountain Horse Association. Consequently, she purchased a 5 acre
property on Cowshed Trail which included a charming 2 bedroom log
cabin and shed, She added a new cabin, barns, garage, turnout and
pastures.
In addition to running the seasonal rental
business, she is the executive director of the Green Mountain Horse
Association in South Woodstock and serves on the Woodstock Economic
Development Commission. Marty resides on the property with Bill
Phillips, a well known screenplay writer and film maker, her two dogs,
and two horses.
